Lívia Guimarães

Graduated in Business Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, graduating from the Gastronomy course at the University Vale do Rio Sinos - Unisinos. I am 29 years old, currently living in Lisbon, Portugal, and I was born in Porto Alegre - South of Brazil.


I have worked in marketing for multinational companies such as Dell and Nestlé, but it was and is in the culinary art that I found the best way to express great stories, inspire, transmit knowledge, culture and my national and international gastronomic experiences. In addition, I am an enthusiast of good music, good wines and sparkling wines.

In 2017, I was sure that my vocation was to work with Gastronomy. Therefore, I gethered the knowledge from these experiences and my academic backgrounds. As a result, I decided to enter the world of gastronomy as a Personal Chef and as a creator of gastronomic content through @cozinhadalivia on digital platforms and decided never to look back.

 

Much of my culinary learning occurred from my academic graduation in gastronomy, but also from an exchange made in Portugal in 2015, when I studied management at the University of Lisbon. However, it was also through several gastronomic trips that I built my differentiated and sharpened palate, which helped to broaden my knowledge in the gastronomic area.
 

Until 2015, I still didn't have the kitchen as my favorite environment at home. It was only after returning from Lisbon that the passion for food and wine, added to my lifestyle, that the habit of cooking and pairing food with wine began to become a hobby and then my work.


I believe that it is possible to create pleasurable gastronomic experiences, maintaining a tasty, balanced and healthy diet, even accompanied by a glass of wine. That's why I created Lívia's Cuisine, where I teach, and share my knowledge through training, courses, events and also through all of Lívia's Cusine digital platforms.

My purpose with Lívia's Cuisine is to PROMOTE INSPIRATION, FREEDOM, INDEPENDENCE AND PROVIDE TRULY INCREDIBLE AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES. for those who follow our social midias and for those who hire our services

In my free time I like to be with my family, having a good wine and food,  listening to good music, reading good books and enjoying the present moment. In addition, whenever is possiblem I like to escape to my country house (farm) and plan trips that can give me inspiration for my work!

You will see me a lot with my husband and partner Guilherme, who built Lívia's Cuisine with me and of course with my family: Laura, my older sister (33), Nilmar, my brother-in-law who I have as a brother, Helena and Henrique ( 11 and 8 years respectively), who are my nephews and who already love to cook with her aunt! And of course, with my parents: Carla and José Eduardo who are responsible for always encouraging my studies and ventures!
